1. Purpose

NAILBOARD (nailboard.art) is a free service, in beta, for composing a manicure nail by nail from photos or designs from the built-in library, previewing it on hands and sharing it with a nail artist as a “Nail Brief”. It is published on a personal basis (see the legal notice). By using the service you accept these terms.

2. Access to the service

The service runs in a recent browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. Most of it works without an account: your boards are then saved in your browser. An account, created by e-mail or with Google, is offered only to find your boards on your other devices and to manage your shared links. The service is intended for people aged 15 and over.

3. Your account

Sign-in relies on a single-use link sent to your e-mail address, or on your Google account: there is no password. You are responsible for access to your mailbox and for what is done from your account. You can ask for its deletion at any time by writing to contact@nailboard.art.

4. Your content

The photos, designs, notes and boards you create remain yours. You grant us only the technical permission needed to store them, back them up while you are signed in, and show them to the people you choose to share them with. You confirm that you hold the rights to the images you import and you agree not to publish content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, is sexual or hateful in nature, or contains other people’s personal data without their consent. Reported content may be removed and an account suspended in case of abuse, with notice by e-mail where possible.

5. Shared links

A shared board can be viewed by anyone who has its link, without an account; the page is hidden from search engines and the link cannot be guessed, but you alone decide what you share and with whom. You can delete a link from your account or by writing to contact@nailboard.art.

6. Our commitments

Details of the data processed, retention periods and your rights are in the privacy policy.

7. Beta, availability and changes

The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability, absence of errors or data retention. Remember to export your important boards (PDF or image of the Nail Brief). Features may change; should the service be discontinued, a notice will be shown in the app with reasonable advance warning so you can retrieve your content.

8. Intellectual property

The NAILBOARD name, logo, interface, illustrations, hand renderings and design library remain the property of the publisher. The service is for personal use; any automated extraction, reproduction or commercial exploitation without written permission is prohibited.

9. Liability

NAILBOARD is a preparation and communication tool: the outcome of a service depends on the nail artist, their technique and the products used, and the hands view is only a preview. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for the loss of data stored in your browser, for service unavailability or for any indirect damage related to its use.

10. Ending use

You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your account and data to be deleted. The publisher may suspend or close an account in case of a breach of these terms.

11. Changes

These terms may change; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use means acceptance of the current version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a problem, write to contact@nailboard.art first to seek an amicable solution; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
